Project Status: NEW

LegiRoad delivers a co-created Policy Roadmap to accelerate the deployment of Power-to-X(PtX), green fuels, and Carbon Capture, Utilization and Storage (CCUS) in Denmark. Despite Denmark’s global leadership in green technologies, uptake is slowed by fragmented governance, unclear liability rules, lengthy permitting, and insufficient policy incentives.

LegiRoad directly addresses these bottlenecks by mapping the policy landscape, identifying regulatory gaps and challenges, analysing regulatory impacts, and co-creating regulatory innovations. The project takes a technological and social sciences approach coupling legal and critical pathways analyses with process innovation, co-creation workshops, and stakeholder engagement across the PtX and CCUS value chains (quadruple helix).

Participating partners: Dansk Brand og Sikring, FORCE Technology, University of Copenhagen, GEUS (Geological Survey of Denmark and Greenland), Technical University of Denmark, Dansk Standard.

SUMIT will develop CO₂ capture and utilization pathways for scalable alternative protein production through integrated microalgae cultivation systems.
